Common
questions.
Can I set fixed shifts and flexible hours?
Yes. Fixed shifts have working days and start and end times. Flexible schedules have working days and a weekly hours target. You can also set times when people need to be available.
How does the company default schedule work?
It is a shared weekly schedule. Changes apply only to people who use the company default. Anyone with their own schedule keeps it.
Can I make a one-time schedule change?
Yes. Adjust a date’s hours or add leave from the planner. This keeps the regular weekly schedule unchanged. You can add a reason and choose whether to email the person and their manager. To update the regular schedule instead, edit the weekly pattern.
What is the difference between core hours and minimum overlap?
With core hours, you choose a fixed time when the team should be available, such as 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Minimum overlap lets people work a set number of hours within a wider window, such as any 4 hours between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Both settings use the company’s time zone.
What does Tracked include?
Tracked includes all time recorded that day, even before a shift starts. You can show separate columns for time outside shifts and time in office.
How can I download attendance?
Choose CSV or XLS and a time format: hours and minutes, decimal hours, or digital time. Add names, emails, employee IDs, or a SAM-compatible name if your reporting system needs it.
